Some exciting news for Mobile Area Rugby! Our state-approved Rookie Rugby curriculum training has been listed in the program guide for this summer's teacher in-service training provided by South Alabama Research and Inservice Center (SARIC). This is a huge step forward in getting a rugby ball into the hands of every student in the Mobile area. We look forward to a great turnout this summer and working with the educators in the coming school year to insure Mobile is READY FOR RUGBY! Teach your students the newest Olympic Sport…Rugby! Rookie Rugby is a non-contact touch or flag version of the game of rugby designed as a PE curriculum. Free materials and equipment will be given to every school attending and completing the training. Be one of the first schools in Alabama to offer Rookie Rugby.
